Religious Liberty & The Captive Mind:
The Writings of Thomas Merton and Czeslaw Milosz
Few topics are more pervasive in America today than religious liberty. The history of our nation is intrinsically linked to it, and yet 230 years after the Constitution, the hotbed issue has never felt so unresolved. Columbia alumnus William P. Mumma of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty will offer ideas on one of our time’s most consequential subjects.
This event is sponsored by Columbia University Catholic Ministry and The Hugh J. and Catherine R. Kelly Endowment.
All events -- campus tour, Mass, reception, and lecture -- are open to members of Thomas Merton NYC. Please RSVP by Dec. 4 to Columbia Catholic Ministry at luisamaria1630@gmail.com
